"Until recently, the majority of our sales were achieved through word of mouth. Over the last year or so – and with little site optimisation – we had seen our links climbing up Google’s rankings organically. We also had a small spend on Google Adwords.
After the launch of our new website, we came to Cybernautix to suggest and implement an SEO campaign. They put together a couple of keyword suggestions for us, and we set our aims high – aiming to get up the rankings for a keyword with millions of searches a month.
Before the campaign began we were on page 6 for the UK specific search, and buried for worldwide searches. It did not take long for this to change, however. By the end of our second month we were on the second page. We are now in the fourth month of the campaign, and in third place. We have also come out of nowhere to be on the first page on the Google.com search too!
Even though we have a fraction of the links of the pages around us, the high quality of the campaign is what makes it so successful.
