The Client: LWF Window Tinting
LWF Window Tinting Ltd were one of the original window tinting companies in the UK. It is now twinned with ICEBEAT (UK) Ltd and together they offer all the range of window tinting and in-car entertainment. This SEO case study follows www.tintedwindows.co.uk, which is the web site for Limousine Window Films.
What they needed:
When we were first approached the client had a very small internet presence that could only be found under their own name. It was clear at the first meeting that they wanted to establish big internet visibility to grow their name, gather enquiries and ultimately do a lot more business with people who use the internet to find services. Their goal was to become Google no'1 on the search terms used in their industry, for example "window tinting" and "tinted windows" were of prime importance.
What we did:
The client needed a new website as well as full optimisation and this gave us the flexibility of building a site with SEO heavily in mind.
We first sat down with the client and prioritised the keywords that were to form the basis of the optimisation process. Building the website from scratch we could directly integrate the Page Title, ALT tags, and Meta tags and optimise the keywords throughout the page layout. We installed a gallery system, to catalogue and display example cars, and customised the code ourselves for SEO purposes.
NB - we mention meta tags here because some search engines still use them. Google uses the Meta Description for instance so it's important to have these filled in and optimised correctly.
Internal linking structures were developed and external links were built to enhance the optimisation process. For the first three months we were in constant communication with the client to fine tune the optimisation and provide feedback. During this period niche keywords were added to grow the visibility into keywords such as 'window tinting staffordshire'. Using this technique of multi-keyword optimisation we can bring great rankings on many keywords with client liason and correct planning.

What they needed:
The client had purchased a good ecommerce system and had it developed with products and prices. They approached us because after one year of being online their ecommerce was barely turning over and they felt it had poor visibility and it couldn't easily be found on Google. Their aim was to bring in business by reaching the top of the search engines for their products and their product ranges.
What we did:
We began by conducting a thorough site survey and formulating an action plan which we then discussed in depth with the client. We proposed modifying their ecommerce system to integrate our 'SEO Composition Engine' technique - which automatically optimises every product in ecommerce systems. This is a smart method of tackling the problem of 'how do you optimise for 500 products?'. We adapted the system to optimise ALT, meta, and title tags on-the-fly for every product.
