The Client: KDM Events Ltd

The Brief:

The client required a CMS development platform to organise and manage over 1000 pages of content. Along with strong SEO capabilities, features such as colour inheritance and colour themeing of categories were of prime importance.

The Solution:

The website is dynamic and CSS driven so that everything can be managed by a secure admin area.

We took an established, heavy duty, content management system (MODx) and developed a highly customised engine, in which sub pages inherit properties of the parent pages (colours, graphics, and links) using custom internal templates and settings. This creates a very easy and cost effective way of building pages quickly and maintaining the look-and-feel throughout.

Since SEO is of high importance we included optimised URLs (mod re-write function), full meta tag, heading tag, and image alt tag management.
